Good News! The Ripple Effect is now shipping!

The Ripple Effect contains 434 pages of activities!

Most of the new Bluebonnets look terrific! We have chosen 19 of them to go into our new book, The Ripple Effect. We are holding fast to our commitment to only include units on books that represent high moral character in literature for grades 1-7. This means we choose only character-building books with exciting story lines and literary value. Our units draw cross-curriculum skills into the reading to make high-level problem solving and standardized testing a pleasure instead of a chore.

We've added some books to receive our Kids Wings Awards. We think you and your students will love them. Three are also among the *Junior Library Guild selections.

We have finished writing and recording songs The Ripple Effect and think you will be delighted.

We have also chosen a new book, *The White Elephant by one of our favorite authors, Sid Fleischman! Pair it with the Bluebonnet Nominee, The Ballet of the Elephants, a nonfiction book about a real elephant ballet which is also included in The Ripple Effect.

As a bonus, we are including a Newbery unit for the Newbery winner Charlotte's Web on The Ripple Effect CD.

A new workshop has been set up in Dallas/Richardson, Region 10, for June 28, 2007, that combines both Reading Seeds and The Ripple Effect for your G/T update!

San Antonio, Region 20, has set up three workshops: May 29, June 1, and June 15th
